About

“I write to discover what I’m talking about." - Flannery O'Connor

I’m a Southern girl through and through, having lived in three of the South’s most beautiful cities—my beloved Birmingham, Alabama, the soulful streets of New Orleans, and now vibrant Atlanta, Georgia. Inspired early on by my late aunt, a respected Alabama historian, I’ve always felt drawn to the rich, layered history of the South. Writing historical fiction isn’t just a passion—it’s where I feel most alive. I’m happily lost in the past, and I have no plans to be disturbed. This is where I breathe life into those who have gone before us.

I’m the author of Belle Haven, In My Wildest Dreams, The First Lights of Eventide, and the WWII espionage novella The Reluctant Glamour Girl—each one rooted in Southern soil and inspired by real places, forgotten stories, and the enduring strength of women.

“This is one of the best Romance books I’ve read.” - NetGalley reviewer

“One of those “can’t put it down” books of nostalgic proportions. The author really knows how to spin a story and keep a secret; that is, keep the reader guessing, splashing and sprinkling surprizes and twists along the way when least expected.” - NetGalley reviewer
