Jaye Burke is a southern historical fiction and women’s fiction author known for her vivid, lyrical prose and evocative storytelling. A former advertising copywriter, Burke left the corporate world when she became immersed in the past by her late aunt, a respected Alabama historian. She now breathes life into the past through meticulous research, traveling to small towns, talking with locals, and uncovering buried stories from her native South. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, she has lived in New Orleans and Mandeville, Louisiana, and now makes her home in the Atlanta area with her husband and spirited dachshund, Cristobel.
